Jess is a good natured 8 year old yellow Labrador. She's spayed and has no medical problems apart from a mild wheat allergy. She loves waking and games, especially fetch although she rarely gives the ball back willingly. Her training is basic; she'll sit, lie and come back to you when called MOST of the time. Because she rarely walks on roads she may pull on the lead and be excited by other dogs or animals across the road and some strength may be required to restrain her in these circumstances. She will eat any food that is lying around (typical Labrador). She is generally good with other dogs but her hackles will sometimes rise which she seems to do when in play mode. She can sometimes jump up when she first meets a person but is generally very sociable. She doesn't bark generally but may if a stranger comes to the door or she sees a cat through a window. She wouldn't be upset by being left for a few hours during the day or evening.

I’m looking for a dog sitter combined with a walker based in or around London to care for my two wonderful rescue dogs at my home (flat - no garden) while I’m away. You will need to have a car (I can provide parking). I have a 28 kg Romanian rescue and a 45 kg Cane Corso, both male, around 4-5 years old, and get on well together. They are well-trained but can be a little nervous as they’re both rescues. They’ll do best with someone who has experience and understands modern, positive reinforcement methods (no punishment, lots of enrichment). It’s also important that you’re able to read their body language, as they communicate a lot through their behavior and need someone who is in tune with them. It is quite difficult walking both dogs together with just 1 person, therefore for longer stays I will arrange a local(ish) private dog walking space so you can let the dogs run around together off leash - this is why the car is necessary. I’d like to start building a relationship slowly, starting with some away from home meetups, followed by one night, then two nights, and finally a 7-day stay from September 1st-8th. The goal is to find someone who will become my go-to person for future stays, someone who can be a trusted part of their lives - therefore I am looking for someone who is quite settled and will be available for the foreseeable years. During stays you will have full use of the place which is a flat is Stratford, E15 right on the canal and very well situated for transport links around London. If you’re kind, patient, and experienced with nervous dogs, I’d love to hear from you.

Luna is a very energetic beagle who likes life’s luxuries!! Likes to be around you all day but will quite happily lie in the sun !! Loves to be walked , mixes with other dogs very well, and can be let off in confined spaces as long as there a treat to come back to!! He is an intact male and gets on with all other dogs, but some castrated males have been aggressive towards him (although he just walks away, does not react or bark, the other dogs are the ones being aggressive).

My cat is Dora she is a friendly, loving playful pet,

Days vary each week. Marshall is a recent rescue and finds bigger dogs to be intimidating, and frequently gets told off for being a bit rambunctious by other dogs, but he is happy around smaller dogs, if a bit of a mischief maker. Dog walk would usually be around midday.

Willow has unfortunately become old before her time. Back in 2020, willow was diagnosed with IVDD and after paralysis, surgery and rehabilitation she has regained full use of her legs! However she has been left with bowel urgency meaning she only has a split second warning that she needs to poop! This means that (usually) twice a day she does have an accident in the house. We have adapted and overcome this hurdle by changing willows diet so that her bowel movements are small and hard. She also needs help going for a wee (she is NOT bladder incontinent) she just doesn’t have the strength in her hips to squat for a while to fully empty her bladder so we just support her hips when she has a wee. Willow needs minimal exercise and is quite happy laying down in front of the tv! We are so glad we have been able to give her a full and happy life after her diagnosis and would love to find somebody as equally nurturing to look after willow whilst we have a break.

We require a regular dog walker for Wednesday lunchtime walks. Ideally up to an hour but 30 minutes will do. Erin is best walked on her own and on lead. Walker needs to be experienced with larger dogs and needs to be confident with reinforcing rules. Erin walks really well 1:1 but will test boundaries if she thinks she can get away with it!! From time to time we may require 1 extra walk a week but this would be an exception.

Sitting for an evening 5-11pm

My beautiful female rescue dog is shy and weary of others at times. But she loves to run and play and roll around on grass. She does not bite. And doesn't bark most times. She's loving and affectionate. She is still learning to be around other dogs and certain people but so far she's doing great. My husband walks her when he is home. 3 times a week. He is away for 4 days at a time. So I need someone to walk her on days he is gone. It fluctuates every week. Does not have to be a certain time. Mid afternoon is best as I am partially disabled and not able to walk some mornings. I just need someone who loves dogs. ❤️

I rescued Holly in March 2023 and it’s the best thing I ever did. She is the sweetest, funniest, most living girl and just wants all the affection she can get. People love her! She’s incredibly well behaved and loves to play although she is quite strong with tug of war. She loves to run off-lead on walks and her recall is great unless she’s noticed a small animal to chase. She also loves sunbathing and just pottering around the garden. She needs to chew toys and like chewing wood and cardboard but she doesn’t chew furniture or personal belongings at all. She sleeps in the bed every night but will be fine elsewhere. She’s energetic but you’ll find her crashed out, snoring on the sofa in the evening on her back. She just loves to cuddle and will nestle her face into your neck. Her tail only stops wagging when she’s exhausted on a long walk. It sometimes wags in her dreams! She sleeps really well through the night and loves a lie-in. She’s been around a toddler off lead for a whole walk and she was absolutely fine. She’s also good with young children she passes on walks and doesn’t pay much interest. She’s quite boisterous and strong and doesn’t know her strength so that’s my main concern of her being around children so I would still be cautious. You will fall in love with her!

Looking for a Kind, Calm Dog Sitter for My Sweet Senior Dog (N1 Area) Hi everyone, I’m looking for a kind, trustworthy dog sitter to help care for my lovely 12-year-old dog, Betty, while I’m at work two days a week. Betty is a Penkingese/Shih Tzu/Chihuaha (and 13 other breeds too apparently!) mix, who is blind, gentle and very sweet. She’s incredibly affectionate once she warms up (which doesn’t take long!) and mostly just wants cuddles, company, and attention. Since going blind, she’s become a bit nervous in busy, noisy areas and around overly energetic dogs (and people!), so she needs someone calm, patient, and understanding. She only needs around 20 minutes of walking twice a day, and I usually carry her to the park in her comfy bag where she can potter around safely on the grass off-lead. She relies on your voice - and treats - to navigate her surroundings and sometimes a short distance can take her a long time - especially if there are a lot of other noises/wind/dogs etc - but it’s worth it to see her happy, smiling face and wagging tail as she reorients herself and bounds toward you with joy! With this in mind, I want to highlight that I would need someone incredibly patient and caring, preferably with experience caring for senior and/or blind dogs. The rest of the time she loves cuddling up and watching a movie, demolishing her favourite chew sticks, taking cosy naps in her bed, and rolling on her back for belly tickles. She really is such a precious, sweet girl and everyone who meets her always says as much. She has a lot of love to give and I look forward to finding someone who I can trust to look after Betty for a few hours while I’m at work, as I don’t like leaving her alone for too long now she’s blind. She is spayed and vaccinated. A clever, well trained, happy dog that does have a couple quirks: she can bark, she can jump up when people come in the door and she can be a bit grumpy on the lead when small dogs approach (only since we had children!). She is really easy to look after, loves company and play and is an all round good girl!

Rudi is a very large puppy, he is a typical crazy puppy who loves zoomies and playtime. Crated during the night and when left alone due to chewing which we hope he will have grown out of by then, but only had one incident so far which is great for a pup!

My rats Wes (siamese) and Kipo (grey/white) need someone who could drop in each evening to feed them, fill their water bowl, and give them a little time out of their cage while I'm on holiday :) They're very sweet, sometimes squabble with eachother but never bite people and are very playful, and cuddly if they're in a sleepy mood

Me and my partner are getting married at Rigg and Furrow on Sat 7th June. We are looking for someone who could pick up Tony late afternoon and look after him whilst we have our mini-moon.

Lulu is an older lady who loves a good belly tickles and cuddles she sleeps a lot and she snores. She doesn’t really like to walk very much but likes to play with her favourite toys and loves treats

We have two miniature schnauzers who are 2 years old. They're both smart, sweet and affectionate but we feel they would use a bit more stimulation during office hours. Matt (my hubby) works from home and I do for part of the week. We find they bark at every little sound in the house, which happens far less when they've been stimulated with a walk for a while. So, this is worse during the middle of the day. We're also catching up on training them, as Teddy had a liver shunt as a puppy, which took priority above their training needs while they were young (they're brother and sister from the same litter). His shunt is only partially repaired, so he's fed on a diet that's low in animal proteins to help with this and he tends to drink a little more water than his sister. Teddy will be castrated in the next few months, but his sister (Muffin) has been spayed. They're both reactive dog's who become easily scared, startled and can get easily nervous around unknown people and other dogs. Therefore, we're hoping that, by enabling another walk part way through the day, they will get some extra practice at keeping focus on their walker instead of any triggers, and they can socialise more. Their recall is pretty good but tends to drop off more when their stress is heightened. Please let me know if you have capacity to walk them both part way through the working day Monday to Friday and any other information you can provide about this. We live in Bilsthorpe.

Cats just need feeding and biscuits and water topping up. They come and go through the cat flap.

Days would vary, but always Monday to Friday, preferably solo walks, until he makes friends! Only used to walking with dogs that he knows at the moment

Freddie is a typical Cockapoo. He does suffer from anxiety and can’t be left alone unless there is another dog with him. He is house trained and generally well behaved.

We have a birdroom in the garden for our stud of Canaries. In August they would need seed and water every other day. This takes approx 1 hour They would need cleaning once during a, 10 day period, that would take about an hour (very simple process)

Pop in once a day a few times a week

Cats are housecats, that will hide when stranger turns up, they just need feeding and water each day

Feeding, water, litter and play/cuddles.

Monday to Friday they are very strong and unfortunately have not been trained well so walked solo would suit at the moment. They are very loving dogs.
