I grew up with animals especially dogs/cats and was a volunteer dog walker at Bleakholt in the 70's and 80's. I continuously campaign for dog welfare and have been a veterinary nurse many years back. I have been able to gain the trust of very timid dog in Italy and have had many dogs attach themselves to me on my travels and they have volunteered to be my guard dog in return for food and a fuss :-) I have dog walked as far as New Zealand.     We booked our Weimaraner in with a dogs best friend for an overnight stay at short notice as we were let down at the last minute. Dustie was very accommodating, arranged a meeting to make sure Poppy got along with her cat and that she knew Poppy's routine etc before her stay. This was great as Poppy has separation anxiety so it was great for her to get to know Dustie before the event. During her stay we were kept informed with messages to reassure us she had settled in. Poppy enjoyed her night with dogs best friend and her walks during her stay. When we arrived to collect her she was returning from a walk, and although very excited to see us, seemed happy and settled with Dustie! Very flexible and accommodating service, we definitely recommend.

    Cannot fault this lovely lady and her beautiful daughter. They really went out of their way to make us and more importantly Eska our dog feel relaxed and comfortable. We had been let down at short notice and although the area I needed the Eska walked in was outside their normal area and the arrangements were quite specific they just jumped right in and did the job excellently. I would have no concerns in recommending the service and no hesitation in using Dogs Best Friend again as this is exactly what they were. Thank You x
