I am recently retired headteacher living a few yards from the coast path with a wonderful dog-friendly garden. I have a gentle, well behaved and sociable golden retriever who adores walks, especially with a doggie companion! Before we moved to the area where we now live, we boarded dogs in training for Dogs for Good (formerly Dogs for the Disabled) which was a brilliant experience. Previously both my husband and I had dogs when we were growing up.
