Having grown up in a family with many different pets, I was brought up with a good understanding and passion for animal welfare. I was able to develop this further through volunteering in animal care at a farm close to my hometown in France before to move to the UK in 2010, which was known in the area for rescuing stray and lost dogs. A lot of my efforts on the farm involved helping with the care and socialising of these animals until many could be reunited with their owners, or re-homed.
