a change of career now means I am at home most of the time and free to do what I love and find fulfilling and that's spending time with animals and offering them the love and care they deserve. I have owned several dogs. cats.rabbits and gold fish/ I love all animals and the time I have spent with them is never dull and very rewarding. I understand the demands of a full time job and how it leaves very little time to care for an animal and how for a loving pet owner this can be a wrench. I am con...

Lucho Cabatingan Aug 31, 2022
Unfortunately we found our dog boarding experience to be troublesome. It ended with us having to relocate our dog, lucho, to another sitter after he began to chewing on objects inside the house and having accidents indoors. We felt like the initial meet and greet went well and that we built some trust. We agreed that Eva would share the responsibility of care amongst herself and her children since she would be working, and we outlined lucho’s habits and routines to the best of our knowledge. I guess that the change in environment was too much to handle. Considering that lucho is still learning at <1 yr old and that tailster has a dedicated section outlined in their t&c of the potential for damages, we were just upset to learn that she would rather get rid of lucho. So for her convenience, we scrambled to find to a friend who would look after him for the remainder of our absence. It’s for these reasons that we give 1 starReply:In reply to this review. Care of any pet is carried out by myself only. Both are my children are older teenagers and the owner was informed that the dog wouldn't be alone at any time as my children would be home if i was at work. (3 mornings each week) The pet was destructive from the start and as the owner points out soiled and urinated on bed and floor of my daughters bedroom twice.Tailster does not state that it is ok for a pet to chew or damage any items in a boarders home. The dog chewed anything in sight, toys, shoes, door, cushions The pet would not stay in another room without repeatedly scratching at doors and walls,The pet had obviously never been away from owner and wasn't used to the household where he wasn't allowed on furniture or beds and wasn't treated like a baby. The whole duration (9 days ) was upsetting and miserablre for my family. There was nothing convenient about contacting the emergency carer to collect the pet, because this carer couldn't actually collect the pet as he lived too far away. Owners need to except that they have a badly behaved pet and they need to take responsibility for it -
