I've grown up with dogs - and yes, they have felt like man's best friend at times! There was Flipper and Sunny first, two Golden Labradors who lived with my nan until a ripe old age and loved Bonios, and their walks around Tivoli Park in Margate, where I grew up. Back home with my parents - Thomas (named by my sister after Thomas the Tank Engine, still not sure why!), whose energy, love and enthusiasm was never-ending.
