Let sleeping dogs lie

Athena a day after I rescued her just before she was about to be left out on the streets at only 3 months old. This angelic picture says it all.

Whilst staying at the rescue shelter in Corfu, another sweet Puppy was found. I kept these tiny two safe in my villa, in a push chair away from territorial street dogs and took them for outings. They came to dinner and walks around the island. Finally I was able to fly them both home on a plane, both safe, loved and home.

When on holiday I rescued a wild cat in Corfu just in time for her to give birth to 4 beautiful kittens. I ended up staying for 3 weeks to help out at the rescue shelter. An emotional but very rewarding experience.
