My family has had dogs since I was about 5 years old. We also lived on a farm for 5 years with various animals and my mother's love of cats meant that cats were always around. We started off with Rolly, a greyhound crossed with a German Shepherd, then Sophie, a Labrador crossed with a German Shepherd. My mother then had terriers which were brilliant little dogs and more recently another couple of cross terriers which she has had to let someone else care for.
