Reply:Thomas (Tricep’s owner) unfortunately wasn’t as I expected either, and didn’t show much consideration or organization after cancelling the walks on 2 occasions very last minute. The first time, he cancelled 1 scheduled walk the day before, which wasn’t bad and I understand last minute changes happen which is totally fine. The next time, he cancelled a week’s worth of scheduled walks (10) the day before. I had turned down 2 opportunities for other dog walks because they overlapped a bit with Tricep’s schedule and I wanted to keep to my commitment to walk Tricep 2x/day, since he was my first job through Tailster and I wanted to try and work around that schedule. After Thomas cancelled so many walks last minute for the second time, I decided he was too unorganized and it was probably best to part ways. And looking back, the day I went to meet Thomas and Tricep before starting the walks, Thomas mentioned his last dog walker just up and disappeared without notice and now it makes sense. And seeing that he’s still posting ads frequently for a walker means I wasn’t the only person to find things a bit too much trouble than they were worth. I’m disappointed to see his review of me but felt the need to respond as I think I did a great and professional job walking Tricep and enjoyed it a lot! He’s a great dog and so enjoyable to walk, but just wished there was some more consideration given.
