I have always had a pet, starting with gold fish as a little girl to now owning my own doggy as a adult. My dog and my daughter are both my babies, we do everything together. If it was left to me I would be the crazy dog lady but my husband keeps me in check. We can walk for hours and still want to go for more. I prefer animals and dogs to humans as they dont lie to you! And they love you more than they love them selves!
